Overview

Band Social is an all-in-one platform for bands to manage their social media presence. From a single dashboard you can schedule posts to Facebook, Instagram, TikTok & YouTube, build a beautiful public page for your band, track analytics, and share your electronic press kit.

Getting Started

Getting up and running with Band Social is quick and easy. Follow these steps:

Create an Account

Go to band.social and click Get Started. Fill in your name, email, and password.

Create Your First Band

After logging in, click Select band in the sidebar, then + Add new band. Set the band name, slug (URL), and genre.

Connect Social Accounts

Navigate to Accounts in the sidebar and connect your Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube accounts. Each account is linked to the currently active band.

Activate Your Subscription

To publish posts, each band needs an active subscription. Go to Billing and activate the Pro plan (€9.99/month).

Create Your First Post

Click Create Post, write your content, select the destination accounts, add media, and either schedule it or publish immediately.

Dashboard

The Dashboard is your band's control center. Here you get a full overview of all posts — scheduled, drafts, and published.

Dashboard Features

Status Tabs

Switch between Scheduled, Drafts, and Published to filter your posts by status.

Counters

Quickly see how many posts you have in each status with the counters at the top.

Platform Filter

Filter posts by platform — Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, or YouTube — using the All Platforms dropdown.

Publish Logs

In the Published tab, each post shows detailed results for every platform, including errors if any occurred.

Create a Post

The compose page lets you create and schedule posts for multiple platforms simultaneously.

Post Fields

Post Content

Write the text for your post. The same content is sent to all selected platforms.

Hashtags

Add hashtags separated by commas or spaces. They are automatically appended to the end of your post.

Publish To — Per-Account Selection

Select individual accounts to publish to. If you have multiple Facebook Pages, you can choose exactly which ones to target.

Media

Click the upload area to add images or videos. Supported formats: JPG, PNG, GIF, MP4, MOV.

Actions

Save as Draft
Save the post as a draft without scheduling.
Schedule Post
Schedule the post for the selected date and time.
Publish Now
Publish immediately to all selected accounts.

Calendar

The visual calendar shows all your scheduled posts in a monthly view. Each day with scheduled posts displays color-coded indicators by platform.

How to Use

Month Navigation

Use the arrows at the top to navigate between months. The current month is shown by default.

Post Details

Click a day to see the scheduled posts for that date in the side panel, with a preview of the content and platforms.

Platform Legend

The right panel shows the color legend: Facebook (blue), Instagram (pink), TikTok (cyan), and YouTube Shorts (red).

Social Accounts

The Accounts page is where you manage all your social media connections. Each platform has its own section with connected accounts.

Supported Platforms

Facebook Page

Connect your Facebook Page to publish posts directly. If your Page has a linked Instagram account, it will be connected automatically.

Instagram

Instagram Business or Creator accounts. Connected automatically via Facebook or linked manually.

TikTok

Connect your TikTok account to publish videos directly.

YouTube Shorts

Connect your YouTube channel to publish Shorts.

Account Management

Each account displays the associated band, the token expiry date, and options to reassign to another band, refresh the token, or disconnect. New connections are automatically associated with the currently active band in the sidebar.

The Band Profile is the central management panel. Here you define all the information, content, and settings for your band.

Profile Sections

Basic Information

Band name, slug (URL), post count, connected accounts, and events. Click Edit to modify.

About (Description)

Your band's description that appears on the public page. Tell your story.

Genre & Tags

Set the musical genre and tags to help with content generation.

Members

Add band members with their name, instrument, and photo.

Photos

Organize photos into albums. Create albums for different contexts (Live, Promo, Studio).

Links

Add external links — Spotify, Apple Music, Bandcamp, YouTube, website, etc.

Band Voice

Define the tone and communication style for your band to guide content generation.

Public Page

Every band gets a public page accessible to anyone. It's your mini-site — share it with fans, promoters, and press.

What Appears on the Public Page

Header & Info

Band name, header image, avatar, and description.

Next Show Banner

If you have an upcoming event, a highlight banner appears with an automatic countdown and a link to tickets.

Music Embeds

Spotify and Apple Music players embedded directly on the page.

Contact Form

Promoters and fans can send messages directly. You receive an email notification.

Press Kit (EPK)

A button to download the Electronic Press Kit as a PDF — band info, photos, links, and contact details in one professional document.

Links & Social Media

All links you added in the profile appear here as clickable buttons.

Members & Photos

Photo gallery and band member list.

Enable / Disable

In the Band Profile, under the Public Page section, you can enable or disable the public page. When active, the URL is displayed and you can copy or open it. Click Customize to personalize the design.

Page Builder

The Page Builder lets you fully customize the look and feel of your public page.

Customization Options

Color Presets

Choose from 8 pre-defined color presets (Midnight Purple, Ocean Blue, Sunset, etc.) or define fully custom colors.

Header Image

Upload a header image that appears at the top of your public page.

Toggleable Sections

Enable or disable individual sections: Music, Events, Members, Photos, Links, Contact Form.

Music Embeds

Paste a Spotify or Apple Music URL to embed players directly on the page.

How to Access

Go to Band Profile Public Page section → click Customize. Changes are saved automatically.

Analytics

Band Social automatically tracks visits to your public page and gives you actionable data.

Available Metrics

Views (30 days)

Number of page visits in the last 30 days.

All-Time Views

Total visits since the page was activated.

Link Clicks

How many times visitors clicked your links (Spotify, Apple Music, etc.).

Contact Messages

Number of messages received through the contact form.

Analytics are visible in the Band Profile, under the Page Analytics section. Data is updated in real time.

Billing

Band Social operates on a simple model: €9.99/month per band. Each band needs its own subscription to publish posts.

Manage Your Subscription

On the Billing page you can see all your bands and the status of each subscription. Click Manage to access the payment portal where you can update your card, cancel, or view invoices.

The profile page shows your personal settings and overall statistics.

Available Settings

Account Information

Name, email, role, and registration date. Click the edit icon next to your name to change it.

Statistics

Number of bands, posts created, and connected social accounts.

Appearance

Switch between Light, Dark, or System theme. Dark mode is the default.

Timezone

Set your timezone so that post scheduling times are displayed correctly.
